IMOS On-Prem API Troubleshoot Steps


For On-Prem IMOS Applications where API is unresponsive.

Troubleshoot steps

Server and Messaging service testing - Most API errors are a result of a Messaging service failure

  • Restarted messaging service

  • Restart Server

  • Investigated if there were any major changes made to the environment

  • Confirmed Firewall isn't blocking traffic

  • Confirmed AV isn't interfering

  • Check how many files are in the messages folder and sub-folders, having a large number can degrade performance.

If the following step does not result in a responsive API, please create a support case and attach the imosmsg log file (veson\imos\services\logs).
