Polygons

A core component of the Oceanbolt platform is the polygon database. The polygon database is proprietary and has been crafted in-house by manually researching and drawing every single polygon.

The polygon database captures ports, terminals, anchorage areas, loading anchorages, shipyards, and zones of special interest like Marine Protected Areas.

We continuously monitor the creation of new terminals and ports through a cluster identification algorithm to ensure no flows are missed.
