IMOS - Rescheduling Voyages

Home > Operations > Rescheduling Voyages

Configuration flag CFGAllowOpsVoyageRenumbering enables voyage rescheduling; you must also have the Edit Voyage Number Module Right.

You cannot reschedule voyages if there are any posted transactions in the Voyage Invoice List. You must reverse the posted invoices before attempting to reschedule.

With the Reschedule Voyage form, you can do any of the following:

  • Move one voyage's itinerary to the itinerary of another vessel.

  • Select a range of consecutive voyages for one vessel and reschedule them as a group to another point on the schedule of the same vessel or another vessel.

  • Swap two voyage itineraries, either of the same vessel or of two different vessels.

Rescheduling One Voyage

  1. On the Voyages list, click the row of the voyage you want to reschedule. In this example, we will choose 1405.

  2. The Voyage Manager appears. On the toolbar, click   and then click Reschedule Voyage.

  3. In the New Vessel/Voyage fields, select the vessel and voyage number whose schedule you want to apply to the Current Vessel/Voyage. The New Vessel can be a different voyage of the Current Vessel.

  4. Click OK. Voyage 1405 is rescheduled as voyage 1406. The previous voyage 1406 is moved up one space in the Voyages list and renumbered 1405.

Rescheduling Multiple Voyages

You can reschedule a group of consecutive voyages to another point on the schedule of the same vessel or to another vessel. All voyages in the group must be consecutive.

In the following example, we are rescheduling voyages 1 through 3mv.

  1. On the Voyages list, click the row of the first of the group of voyages you want to reschedule.

  2. The Voyage Manager appears. On the toolbar, click  and then click Reschedule Voyage.

  3. On the Reschedule Voyage form, in the To field, enter the voyage number where the range of vessels to be rescheduled ends.

  4. In the New Vessel/Voyage fields, select the vessel and voyage number where you want the range of vessels to be rescheduled to.

    • The Consecutive check box only affects the status of the first voyage in the batch.

  5. Click OK. Voyages 1309 through 1311 are rescheduled as consecutive voyages beginning at voyage 1310. The previous voyage 1313 is moved up to 1309.

Swapping Voyages

To swap two scheduled voyages, select the Swap check box on the Reschedule Voyage form. You can only swap one voyage with another; you cannot swap a group of voyages.

  1. On the Voyages list, click the row of the voyage you want to swap.

  2. The Voyage Manager appears. On the toolbar, click  and then click Reschedule Voyage.

  3. In the New Vessel/Voyage field, select the vessel and voyage you want to swap the current voyage with.

  4. Select the Swap check box.

  5. Click OK. The two voyage itineraries are swapped.
