Note: Requires Voyage Reporting. You must have the Administer Company Account General Permission enabled.
Users and Groups
To view and change security settings, on the Operations menu , under Setup, click Voyage Reporting Security. The Security page lists your users and groups. It also displays Support phone numbers.
To sort the list by a column, click . The symbol changes to or to indicate the direction of the sort. Click again to reverse it.
Adding a User
To add a user:
- Click .
- On the Add User/User Information page, complete the information.
- Click Permissions, on the left side.
- On the Add User/Permissions page, to give the user a permission, select its check box.
- General Permissions:
- Administer Company Account: Access Voyage Reporting Security.
- Edit Company Profile
- Define Forms and Vessels
- Configure System: Access System Configuration.
- View Dashboard
- View Voyages: Access Fleet Map.
- View Reports
- Edit Power BI Reports
- View Networking: Access the Network.
- Manage Invitations: Send and accept Network invitations and end partnerships.
- Access Veslink Distances
- View Alerts

- View API Permissions (requires separate licensing)
- API Read: Allows access to all Read calls, which use the GET method
- API Write: Allows access to all Write calls, which typically use the POST and PATCH methods, as well as all Read calls
- API IMOS Message: Allows access to IMOS message endpoints, as well as all Read and Write calls
- Form Access:
- View: View a form. This permission can be used to restrict the vessels to which a user, for example, an owner of a chartered-in vessel, has access.
- Resubmit: Reopen a submitted form, make changes to unprotected fields on it, and resubmit it.
- Approve: Approve, reject, or modify forms received from vessels.
- Notes:
- To work with Veslink forms in the Veson IMOS Platform (VIP), the user must have the Module Rights listed under Veslink, to View, Approve, Resubmit, and/or Define forms.
- A user who imports a form automatically has full permissions to that form.
- Permissions can be given for All forms or for each form individually.
- All: To give all or most permissions in a column, select the check box next to All. You can then clear check boxes for individual forms.
- Individual forms: To give no or few permissions in a column, select check boxes for individual forms.
- Vessel Access:
- To specify the vessels that the user can access, select the Restrict Vessel Access check box. A list of all Veslink vessels appears. Select the Has Access check boxes for the vessels you want the user to be able to access.
- If you are an Agent using the Agent Portal, you can give the following permissions to users:

Note: Users inherit all permissions from any groups to which they belong. There is no way to deny a permission to a single member of a group.

- On the Add Group/Group Information page, complete the information.
- Form Access:
