Collaborative Tools - Comment Editing and Deletion

This feature allows you to control whether users can edit or delete their comments within your organisation. With this update, you can set organization-wide restrictions on both comment editing and deletion.

How to Access the Comment Editing and Deletion Settings

1. Navigate to Workspace Settings.

2. Go to the Features section.

3. Scroll down to the Comments settings.

In this section, you'll find two options:

• Disable Comment Editing

• Allow Anyone to Delete Comments

Disable Comment Editing

This feature allows you to set a time limit on when users can edit their comments. You can choose from the following time options:

• After 24 hours

• After 12 hours

• After 6 hours

• After 1 hour

• Never - Users can edit their comments whenever they want

• Always - Users can’t edit comments

For example, if you select "After 24 hours," users will only be able to edit their comments 24 hours after posting. After that, editing will be disabled.

Allow Anyone to Delete Comments

This toggle enables or disables users' ability to delete comments. When enabled, anyone can delete their comments at any time. If you disable this option, comments cannot be deleted, ensuring that all comments remain visible for reference.

Please Note: You must have a Manager or Owner role to access this setting.
