IMOS - Scheduling

Home > Chartering > Scheduling

You must have the Scheduling Module Right selected, under Quick Links in Chartering.

Scheduling is a collaborative scheduling tool with a visual drag-and-drop interface. Scheduling supports multiple chartering desks, each with its own tailored workspace.

Members of each chartering desk can work simultaneously with multiple vessels and multiple cargoes, evaluating different options, and collaborating to optimize fleet utilization. Scheduling adjusts automatically to global events such as vessel ETA changes and to team member input.

  • On the main menu , under Chartering, click Scheduling.

  • In the Chartering quick links, click .

The default Scheduling view consists of the following sections, from which you can create, mark as consecutive, reschedule, and delete Estimates:

To view the Schedule List, which includes all Estimates, Time Charters, and Voyages in the current program, click .

  • As with any other list, you can remove (by dragging the column name off of the list), adjust, pin, group, and sort columns, and save user views.

  • To open an EstimateTime Charter, or Voyage in a new tab, click its row.

  • To return to the default Scheduling view, click .

Description

Enable Forecast Voyage
CFGEnableForecastVoyage

Enables changing the Voyage Status to Forecast. Forecast voyages appear in Matching, Scheduling, and the Vessel Schedule.

Default Forecast Voyage Status
CFGDefaultForecastVoyStatus

When this and CFGEnableForecastVoyage configuration flags are enabled, initial Voyage Status is Forecast by default instead of Scheduled.

Enable Multi Grade
CFGEnableMultiGrade

For vessels such as product tankers with the same kind of Cargo in several grades, enables Multigrade Cargoes: Changes the Cargo field to Cargo Group and adds a Cargo Grade column (for the Cargo Name within the Cargo Group) to the Itinerary/Options tab.

  • Each Cargo Name must be tied to a Cargo Group.

  • One Cargo Name must be created with the same name as the Cargo Group.

The Freight Invoice automatically adapts its format to display the Cargo Group, followed by the individual grades.

Note: The setting of this configuration flag determines which variable is available and whether the No. of Grades variable is available, on the Pricing Rule form:

  • N: Cargo Type; No. of Grades variable not available

  • Y: Cargo Grade x; No. of Grades variable available

When the Cargo Grade variable is used in a Rule, its evaluation is done based on the order of Grades in the itinerary.

Enable Detailed Scheduling Cards
CFGEnableDetailedSchedulingCards

When enabled, Estimate and Voyage cards in the Scheduling workspace are enhanced with detailed voyage, laycan, and cargo information.
