Veslink standardizes voyage communications to help you collect and analyze current positions and other critical voyage data and share information with a network of trusted partners.

Note: You must have the Define Forms and Vessels General Permission enabled.
On the Forms and Vessels tab, you manage vessels, vessel types, forms, and form groups.
You can do any of the following:
- Vessels and Vessel Types:
- Create and manage vessels and Vessel Types.
Note: With Veslink with IMOSConnect, vessels and Vessel Types are created and managed in IMOS. - Assign vessels to Form Groups.
- Tip: When updating a Vessel Name, if changes are not appearing in Veslink, in VIP, uncheck and recheck "Active for Veslink" in the Vessel workspace.
- Create and manage vessels and Vessel Types.
- Forms:
- Create and manage forms and Form Groups.
- Distribute forms to vessels.
- Design forms and Voyage Instruction templates using elements from the Data Dictionary.
- Define data sources for the Statement of Facts and Cargo Handling forms.
Note: Data Sources is only applicable for users of Veslink standalone (Veslink forms without IMOS).
