Shipfix data is based on anonymised and aggregated orders and ship positions from market participants and features 5 years of historical data. These proprietary datasets are intersected with satellite data to produce unique insights.
Shipfix indicators can predict major macro trends up to two months before any official publications such as the PMI. Our clients use our dataset to determine and predict the changing patterns in global trade. For instance, Shipfix has forecasted trends in commodities up to 12 month before UN Comtrade releases.
