Cancelling a time charter can be achieved by changing contract status to Cancelled.
However, if moving the status to Cancelled cause issues, then this can be a result of a voyage being linked to the Time Charter contract. Steps to keep in mind prior to cancelling the TC contract:
Once all the scheduled voyages have been deleted, IMOS will proceed to allow the status Cancelled on the Time Charter.
It is good practice to cancel a TCO prior to cancelling a TCI.
A voyage with the status Cancelled must still be deleted prior to cancelling the TCI/TCO.
