IMOS On-Prem - Formatting Codes for Numbers and Dates

Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include' : No link could be created for 'help:IMOS Documentation'.

In the Report Designer, if a Custom Column is of type DateTime or Numeric, you can customize how the field is displayed. Changing the formatting of the Display does not change the value of the field, but only chooses the visual formatting. This formatting is not exported to Excel.

DateTime Formatting Options

The output of DateTime fields can be formatted to show as much or as little information as is required. IMOS offers a formatting selector for the most common formats, but you can also construct your own DateTime format using a combination of codes. Continue past the table for examples of custom formatted date options.

Custom DateTime Formatting

You can create a custom DateTime formatting using the above codes that do not appear in the Formatting Selector field. To create custom formatting codes, type the preferred codes in the Formatting Code field. You can also include other characters to display in the output. For simple characters like - and , you can just type the character, but wrap more complex characters in "".

Here are some examples:

"Year: "yyyy", Month: "MMMM", Day: "ddYear: 2013, Month: June, Day: 12
