IMOS - Notifications Panel and Tasks & Alerts

The Notifications panel displays the Tasks and Alerts that apply to the current workspace; it appears in the Estimate, Cargo/VC In, COA (Alerts only), Cargo/VC In, TC In/Out, Cargo/VC In Booking, and Voyage Manager workspaces.

To open or close the panel, click Notifications on the workspace panel bar on the right. On the panel button, an orange badge shows the number of unread Tasks or unacknowledged Alerts/Notifications.

Tasks

Configuring Tasks and incorporating them into your workflow can improve business process compliance and support workflow auditing.

Alerts

We recommend that IMOS admins configure alerts in collaboration with department heads.

Managers can configure error or warning Alert messages to be sent to users, all of which appear on the Alert List.

Ignore Save Preventing Alerts in Invoice Bulk Posting

When bulk-posting invoices or journals in Financials through the Transaction Summary list, Post Invoices list, or Post To Financials functionality in Voyage Cost Allocation and Demurrage Cost Allocation forms, if any invoice or journal violates a previously configured alert rule, it will fail to post, and the rest will be posted when the CFGIgnoreSavePreventingAlertsInInvoiceBulkPosting flag is enabled. 

Default Show Cargo Tasks and Alerts in Voyage

When enabled, in the voyage Tasks panel, the Hide Cargo Tasks & Alerts menu option is cleared and associated Cargo Tasks and Alerts appear by default.

Disable Show All Tables

When enabled, there is no option in the Report Designer to Show All Tables. Users must create reports starting from the primary tables and may join to other tables from there.

Enable Ag Grid in the Notifications Panel

When enabled, the Notifications Panel will utilize AG Grid to display the Tasks and Alerts, and Webhook responses for the current estimate. This flag is enabled by default. Disabling this flag removes grouping panels by type, and displays one list of all Tasks and Alerts (pre-2021 view).
