You may encounter the following error message that states ALERT ERROR - followed by the reason.
A pop-up message that contains ALERT is set up in the Task & Alert Rule Set List and can prevent saving. This may appear when trying to save a Cargo, Estimate, Time Charter, or a Voyage, and the reason should describe what the Alert is about.
If the Alert is not correct, then it must be set to inactive to stop save prevention, and the conditions should be reexamined before it can be set to active again.
We recommend that you always test a new Task & Alert Rule set up in your test environment first before deploying it to production. This will help reduce disruption caused by such Alerts.
