Indicators

The Emission Feature is found in Estimates as well as in Voyages. It aims to give you a guide on how your vessel is performing in the current voyage. It calculates EEOI, AER, Cii Banding, SOx, and NOx which are important indicators for shipowners and maybe even the charterers.

Below are the calculations for each Indicators

EEOI

(CO2 x 10^6)/ (Laden Distance x Cargo Loaded)

AER

(CO2 x 10^6)/ (Sailed Distance x Vessel Deadweight)

Cii Banding

Depending on what the AER and the Cii banding chart, the vessel is given a banding from A to E. The Banding given is marked by the colour under "AER/ Voyage“ column/ Row.

Cii banding calculation is dependent on the type of vessel. Therefore, please ensure that the in Vessel Register> Emission, the correct selection is selected.

SOx

(Total Bunker Consumption x Sulphr) x 2

NOx

(Total Bunker Consumption x NOx)/ 1000

Emission Content

The content of the emission requires manual input for one time in Estimate/ Voyages for it to carry forward to subsequent newly created Estimate/ Voyage.
