For vessels of type L (LNG carrier), the LNG tab in the Vessel form includes all LNG-related fields.Image Removed

...

LNG tab:

  • NBOG Speed Laden - laden speed at which it releases a steamed gas (gas that evaporates from cargo tanks that is considered as fuel). *NBOG - Natural Boil-Off Gas.

  • NBOG Speed Ballast - ballast speed at which it releases a steamed gas.

  • Filling Limit % - Max value of % for BOG daily.

  • FOE Conversion - Fuel Oil Equivalent factor needed to calculate LNG consumption.

  • Max Ballast BO/Day - for Ballast passages pro-rated by ratio of number of tanks.

  • Max Laden BO/Day - for Laden passages pro-rated by ratio of number of tanks.

  • Use NBOG fuel-consumption rate at sub-NBOG speeds - used if estimate/voyage to calculate LNG consumption at the NBOG consumption rate when the vessel travels at the speed less than the NBOG speed.

Description

Enable Legacy IFO Top Off Calc
CFGEnableLegacyIFOTopOffCalc

For LNG vessels, relates to the calculation of the amount of IFO (or other designated "FOE" fuel type) needed in order to accelerate to a given speed higher than the NBOG speed when in dual-fuel mode. When this config flag is enabled, this amount is calculated as the difference between (a) the IFO consumption at actual speed and (b) the FOE equivalent of the LNG consumption at the NBOG speed. When this config flag is disabled or by default, this amount is calculated as the difference between (a) the IFO consumption at actual speed and (b) the IFO consumption at NBOG speed.
