Note: Requires the Claims module, and configuration flag CFGEnableDemTBTasks must be enabled.

Demurrage Time Bar Tasks, to complete demurrage-related activities, are automatically generated based on contract and voyage data; for more information, see Demurrage Time Bar Task Generation. You can track and complete these tasks on the Demurrage Time Bar Task List to ensure timely claims settlement.

In the Demurrage and Claims module center , under Quick Links, click Demurrage Time Bar Task List.

Based on Claims Lists Settings:

  • Time Bar and Target Dates are calculated.
  • Tasks with a Warning appear yellow.
  • Tasks with an Alert appear red.

To view a task that has been generated, on the Demurrage Time Bar Task List, click its Task ID link.

To create a new Laytime Calculation, click  and then click New Calculation.

Linking an existing Laytime Calculation to Demurrage Time Bar Task

To link an existing claim to the task, follow one of the methods:

  • open a claim and save it.
  • open a task, click New Calculation - when claim window opens, exit. 

Completing a Task

To complete a task, change its Time Bar Status to Claim Sent (for AR tasks), Claim Received (for AP tasks), No DemurrageInternal, or Time Bar.
