Click on the revenue and then select “Demurrage”
In the new screen you can enter the events/port activities on each port log. By clicking on the three-bar menu on the top right you can import port log
Once the SOF has been imported you can manually edit it and update it as per below. You will be able to set up the date/time as well as define if this activity is the start or end or suspend of Laytime
Once you define the Start and End of the Laytime you will notice on the left side that the total laytime days will be displayed.
On our below example, we have 1 allowed day for laytime, and our vessel needed 1.733 days. So, the total time on demurrage is 0.733 days of demurrage.
The above will be automatically multiplied with the demurrage rate/day and the total demurrage cost is the final number of $3$110,666000.67.00.
In the page of Demurrage you can also define any deductions that might occur in this port call
Under the SOF you will notice that there is separate section when you can input the date of the deduction, as per below
In our example the description is "Weather“ ,we have set the start and end dates/times and the percentage has been set to 100%
You will notice that once the above are entered the laytime calculation and the demurrage amount will change accordinglyAt last, there are two option when you click on the save button
The one is "Save Calculation“ which only saves the calculations and the second one is “Save calculation & Revenue" which you can select it if the calculations are done and you need to raise an invoiceNow if you check the Revenue on the voyage, you will notice that the demurrage cost is being displayed there and it is available to issue the relevant invoice
