To view an existing vessel, on the Vessel List, click its row or Vessel Name VESSEL NAME link.
To create a new vessel, do one of the following:
- On the Vessel List, click Image Removedclick + and then click one of the following:*The Barging module is required.
- On the main menu , under Data Center, click Vessel.
- To copy an existing vessel, open it and then click Image RemovedImage Added. All vessel data is copied to a new Vessel form, but voyage data is not copied. On its Properties panel, the Estimate Only Vessel and Inactive Vessel check boxes are cleared. Complete the Vessel Code and Vessel Name fields.
- To import or update a vessel based on external data feeds, see Vessel Data Integration (requires valid licensing).

- To share a vessel, copy its URL and then share it with any users in your organization.
Note: To view the vessel, users must be logged in. - Vessel details are in the center:
Information appears on Consumption, LNG (for Type L vessels; requires the LNG module), Routes, DWT/Draft, Details, Stowage, Contacts, L/D Performance, Properties (when User-Defined Fields are set up in the Data Center), Bunker Tanks, and TCE Target tabs.
- The Summary Tree is at the right; when a vessel has been used in a voyage, it summarizes and provides access to important forms and related information. You can attach and access documents or links.
- You can access additional tools, forms, and information on the toolbar and right panel.
When you create a new vessel, complete at least the following required fields:
